• six more weeks of winter??

  Okay I didn’t check and I think its too late for doing so now, but I think the ground hog saw his shadow….

  
  

  For the past week we have had freezing weather.  Healthy Weighty Wee Man isn’t bothered by the cold outside … until his hands are so cold you can’t touch them for 30 min after he comes inside.  We can’t make the girls go out, or at least we don’t walk over to the TV and turn it off and give no other option but go to bed or go outside.  Even The Husband and I agree that it’s cold outside ~ that is a miracle in itself as I have heard nothing but “you’re from Canada, you should be used to the cold!” for the past nearly four years.  To which I ALWAYS reply…”it’s a different cold there! and we actually get WARM there not like here where it’s lucky to see 20 Celcius for three days during May!”

  
  

  This morning?  Two kettles of warm water before I could see well enough to make the three minute drive to work.  Blessing about starting work at 7am? NO TRAFFIC! Only thing I have to wait for is one traffic light and even then I usually cross on the red if I have successfully cleared the windows enough to see no traffic is coming that is.   And daily traffic in Dundalk is the worst I have ever encountered.
