So much has happened since last week.  I had my voice taken away, my eyes checked, we decided against the property in Aldersyde and my sister came for a flying visit.

My voice is back now albeit a bit scratchy now and again.  I did end up seeing a doctor only to be told that he couldn’t see anything wrong and had no idea why I had no voice (like I said in my previous post, becareful what you ask for!)

Not a lot has been happening really as we have been having cool, wet weather.  So cool infact we had snow Saturday morning.  nothing special, but it was snow and it did stick for a few hours. And then it rained. And stopped.  And rained again.  At one point my sister and I ran out to WalMart and just after we got in the van, hail started.  Lucky us!

So that’s us really.  Nothing special, but that could change any minute!

Be careful what you ask for Internet.

And I don’t mean I will be leaving.  It’s just a good thing that my fingers still work.  We have been offered a huge thing and while The Husband is all for it, there is something deep down that tells me this is not the option for us.  The Husband was offered a piece of property to rent in exchange for doing work for the man who owns it.  While it takes one financial pressure off it increases it else where, so really it is just exchanging one for another and in the end we would be no better off.

When this was presented to me, I sought guidance in the one person I trust most.  I asked God for his devine wisdom and to do what it takes for me to hear it.  Seriously I have no voice.  I quote one person, I “sound like a 12 year old boy whose voice is breaking.”  Yeah, that’s me 12 year old boy! Ahem.  I had another person tell me that when I spoke it sounds like it hurts.  It doesn’t, but its not very loud and is more frustrating as I do feel like I have to strain to be heard. 

So I’m doing a lot of listening.
