After getting out of bed this morning, I went in to the girls room and happened to walk in on a conversation in mid-swing between Oldest Large Child and Wee Blonde Child (miracles being what they are Healthy Weighty Wee Man slept in this morning!).  The conversation happened to be about who was going to be whom in their “game” after breakfast.  Apparently two Barbies were getting married and whenever the girls play this game, WBC is ALWAYS the “girl part” and this time OLC wanted to be the “girl part”.  So after this was explained to me in an 8 year old and 4 year old way, I said, “Well [Wee Blonde Child] why don’t you share and take turns playing the different parts?”

So another brief exchange happens and it is decided that WBC is going to play the “man part” in the impending wedding to take place after breakfast.  At this point Oldest Large Child pipes up, “Besides [Wee Blonde Child], its easy being the man.  All you have to do is talk man language.”

Okay for the past few years I have been trying to figure out how to make a go at this professional blogger thing.  And we’ll I may have it cracked but it has been a long hard crawl and I’m sure that I have a harder crawl to go yet.  You will notice that the ads on this site have changed slightly.  Please feel free to click on them …  every little click helps pay for basketball camp for Oldest Large Child, stickers for Wee Blonde Child and eventually some speach therapy for Healthy Weighty Wee Man if he ever gets to speak on his own.

I have often thought of how I should present my blog to the world in general, but as of yet haven’t really done that.  I am more than a “mommy blog” as every post is not about my children, my pregnancies, or my cat.  (oh yeah, Internet, I forgot to tell you we got a cat.)  there are genuine posts about some real issues!  But other than my devoted friends, how do I … 1) make you all read more often 2) comment 3) read again 4) comment some more …..  I read other blogs that seem to have devoted followings and I WANT THEM TOO!

So for now I’ll go.  I have “real” work to do.  The one that pays more at this point in time.  Be well Internet.
