We have booked and canceled flights to move to Canada.

We have had MULTIPLE phone calls to confirm, deny, or try and just plain sort out what we have to do so they will let our entire family (well all five of us) in to Canada at the same time. Did I say that we had many phone calls??

The Husband learned that there are 550 employment opportunities for his trade in Canada and none in the UK & Ireland.

Healthy Weighty Wee Man has started talking with some recognizable words, but unlike his sisters, his voice is soft and whisper like.

Wee Blonde Child locked herself in the bathroom and the end result is that there is no longer a door on our main bath…. guests now have to use our ensuite and THAT means I HAVE the keep our bedroom really REALLY REALLY tidy.  All the more reason to get the door fixed sooner than later…..

Oldest Large Child competed in a Feis (pronounced fesh like fresh with no ‘r’).  OLC has been in a drama and speech … club since September and this is one of the things that she got to do.  She had to stand in front of a room of about 75 people and three judges and recited a poem that she had been practicing since September.  And not because I’m her mother, OLC did very well and pronounced her words clearly and articulately.  Although she could have been a tad bit louder…. funny that!

We had snow.  Real snow.  And it stayed for two days, then it rained.

I started working at the Hotel Imperial not unlike the Hotel California I’m thinking for the way things go on about here…. Ahhh but it is an income that will contribute to our move to Canada later this year.  They have no idea what has hit them, but its all an adventure right??
